Thea and the Wild River is a drama-documentary for children aged three to six. Thea and her sister are best friends, but one day Thea is left alone because her big sister finds a new playmate. The film is directed by Jacob Wellendorf and Catherine Kunze, a directing couple with a unique narrative style who have received several international film awards. Their previous films, some of which have been purchased by MoMA in New York, have been shown at more than 80 film festivals around the world. DR has purchased Thea and the Wild River.
CFC IN SPECIAL COMPANY

Copenhagen Film Company was invited to join the exclusive seminar “New Nordic Producers on the Move”, the purpose of the seminar being to network with other production companies outside Denmark. 11 other production companies participated, and the first cross-border cooperation has already been established.
DFI FUNDING OF ANOTHER CFC FILM PROJECT
Having funded Thea and the Wild River and She Sings, DFI granted funding for yet another CFC project: the documentary Order, a witty documentary on the human need of order and the things we might miss out on in our craving for perfect order in our lives.
Furthermore, Copenhagen is about to wrap up a series of three films for DR about the women in the Danish Resistance. For the first time since the Second World War, the women in the Danish Resistance will tell their story. The films have been financially supported by DR and the Velux Foundation.
