STARDUST - BIG THINGS HAVE SMALL BEGINNINGS

The documentary follows Jon Larsen, micrometeorite enthusiast and former jazz musician, who one morning discovers something shiny on his balcony table. Jon has found micrometeorites – stardust in popular terms. In 2015, Nasa concluded that it was not possible to collect and separate this material – each micrometeorite smaller than the width of a hair straw – but that doesn’t stop Jon, and a few years later, together with a colleague, he proves that it is actually possible to find stardust all over the world – even on city rooftops. With the inspiring enthusiasm of Jon as the driving force, the film takes us on a cosmic journey, exploring the origin of life and proving that it is indeed possible to make your dreams come true.
