THE RIGHT TO A CHILDHOOD - THE STORY OF STAIRWAY

The Right to a Childhood – The Story of Stairway is a moving and powerful documentary about street children in the Philippines, their fight for survival and the hope for a better future. The film follows the founders of the organization Stairway Foundation, the two enthusiasts Lars and Monica, who for more than 30 years have created a home for vulnerable children and at the same time have put children's rights on the agenda of both schoolchildren, teachers and authorities throughout the Philippines. It is also the story of Danish development assistance at its best. An inspiring film about humanity, courage and the fight for children's rights.

The film can be seen at the link above.

The film is part of the teaching course Does Help Help? and is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' information and engagement fund - OpEn.
